About The Position

As a Trimmer, you will perform a variety of techniques to work with composite components as part of the manufacturing process. This role is for a 2nd Shift Trimmer need at our Sumner location. The schedule is 3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday - Thursday. The pay range is $22.25 - $26.25/hour DOE.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand detailed instruction.
Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
Able to identify defective materials and parts.
Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
Must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements.
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Trim and deburr fabricated components using pneumatic power tools.
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Promote safety in the workplace.
