About The Position

This position involves performing various tasks related to the production and distribution of manufactured goods. The role requires adherence to safety policies, quality standards (including ISO policies), and company work rules. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, demonstrating good work ethics, and following procedural instructions before starting any job. The position also involves quality assurance checks and ensuring all work meets specified requirements. Specific duties include on/off-loading forged cylinder shells, setting up a gas cut-off torch head, and re-identifying cut-off shells. The employee must be able to meet production standards within a reasonable time and accomplish all assigned tasks for the successful completion of the company's mission.

Requirements

Must possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.

Responsibilities

Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Complies with the work rules and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.

Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
Performs any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function or assignment.
Assures that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
On/Off load forged cylinder shells (cups)
Set-up gas cut off torch head
Re-identify cut off shells to include modifying bottom code
Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested for successful completion of the mission of Norris Cylinder.
