About The Position

Owens Corning, global in scope - human in scale. We’re an international company, with solid roots in North Platte and we’ve got opportunities for a few dynamic people to join our local team. This position is for the 2nd Shift, 5:00pm-3:30am, Monday - Thursday. The hourly pay rate range for this position is 22.55 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret production tickets.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
• Must have product knowledge and computer skills.
• Must have good attendance and safety records.
• Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• This position requires high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve door tags from operator
• Inspect doors for defects, verify print matches door and ticket
• Enter trimmed doors into M/P, write off doors with customer and door count
• Record rejects with proper codes and create KI’s
• Down-stack Shakers
• Help push doors down line and to paint booth
• All other assigned duties.
