About The Position
Work in pairs to grade finished door slab quality as it comes out of saw and transferred to pallet for shipping.
Requirements
- Safety toed footwear
- Eye protection
- Gloves
- Hearing Protection
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift.
- Work overtime including weekends as needed.
- Detect and report defective and reject materials
- Keep work area neat and organized during and at end of shift
Responsibilities
- Correct pallet and bottom sheet for slabs
- Stack slabs uniformed
- Communicate quality issues to operator
- Ensure print string matches outfeed monitor
- Move slabs to repair as needed
- Assist in repair if needed during downtime
- Housekeeping during downtime
- Follow established company safety policy & procedure
- Meet established efficiency, quality and production goals
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift.
- Work overtime including weekends as needed.
- Detect and report defective and reject materials
- Keep work area neat and organized during and at end of shift
- May be required to work or assist in other areas throughout the facility.
