About The Position

As a Trim and Pack Operator you will prepare and expand cores to size as specified and prepare for shipment. Drive hi-lo. Currently there is an opening for a Trim and Pack Operator in our Metals division on 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:30PM to 6:30AM).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

  • Drive hi-lo.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained through clean-up of scrap, cardboard, and skids.
  • Assemble proper materials for the job.
  • Cut materials to specified size.
  • Measure end product for accuracy.
  • Prepare cores for shipment.
  • Make boxes and pack materials.
  • Complete documentation correctly and neatly.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
  • Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
  • Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods.
  • Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
  • Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.
