About The Position
Epic Aircraft is seeking a Trim & Drill Technician to join their Trim & Drill team. In this role, you will use air-powered and electric tools to trim, drill, and prepare composite aircraft parts for assembly. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with basic mechanical skills who are looking for hands-on work and a long-term career in aircraft manufacturing. The company is located in Bend, Oregon, and offers an exciting work environment with opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to take on new challenges and continuously learn
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to producing quality work
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Trim composite aircraft parts using air-powered hand tools
- Drill precise holes using templates, fixtures, and drill jigs
- Bead blast surfaces to prepare parts for bonding and assembly
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, specifications, and company procedures
- Safely operate tools and equipment while following all safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
