About The Position
NVE is proactively building a Talent Pool to focus on the workforce development of Tribal Members. This pool will be utilized for on-call jobs at NVE, which pay $25.00 per hour. Additionally, contact information may be shared with contractors and subcontractors hired for NVE projects, who will have their own separate application processes and pay information. In accordance with P.L. 93-638, preference in hiring practices is given to Alaska Native, American Indian, and Native American applicants. Hiring preference for NVE Tribal members is in effect for this position.
Requirements
- Must be a Tribal Member.
- Willingness to have contact information shared with NVE contractors and subcontractors.
- Understanding of hiring preference for Alaska Native, American Indian, and Native American applicants, specifically NVE Tribal members.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a Talent Pool for Tribal Members for current and future job openings.
- Facilitate workforce development for Tribal Members.
- Potentially forward contact information to contractors and subcontractors for project-based roles.
