About The Position

This internship program is designed for Kalispel Tribal Members to learn the job duties of a desired area of internship. The intern will assist and support in all services and programs, work collaboratively with departments, assist on projects or department needs, and support the department in carrying out office duties. This is a 10-week paid internship that includes uniforms and training.

Requirements

• Kalispel Tribal Members Only
• High school Juniors or Seniors
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interested in learning about Land Management
• Participating in Tribal Career Readiness Program.
• Obtain and maintain [License or Work Permit Level].
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for automobile insurance.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Learn the job duties of desired area of internship.
• Assist and support in all of the services and programs.
• Work collaboratively with the department or other departments.
• Assist the department on projects or department needs.
• Assist and support the department in carrying out office duties or as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
