About The Position

Northampton Family Medicine is an award-winning family practice housed in Cooley Dickinson's multispecialty medical facility located at 22 Atwood Drive, Suite 201 in Northampton, MA. As a Family Medicine office, we offer comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, newborn through adult. We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Triage RN to support our practice Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm. After successfully completing the first 90 days, this position will transition to a hybrid schedule, with three remote days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and two days working onsite! his role is predominantly phone triage with a mix of nurse visits.

Requirements

Associate's Degree Nursing required
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Various Issuers preferred
Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
