The Triage Nurse provides telephonic and clinic-based nursing support for patients with bleeding disorders in an outpatient setting. In the Triage role, the nurse responds to incoming calls and patient messages from multiple access points, addresses incoming pharmacy faxes, processes medication refill requests, and prioritizes emergency department referrals using established clinical protocols and sound nursing judgment. In the Outpatient Infusion Nurse role, the nurse will specialize in administering IV therapy, including medications, and fluids to patients with bleeding disorders in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate has exceptional vascular access skills, a strong foundation in pharmacology, and the ability to provide personalized, patient-centered care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their treatment journey. In the Clinic role, the nurse supports efficient clinic operations through routine clinical tasks, proactive problem-solving, and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. The position emphasizes patient education, care coordination, and accurate, timely documentation in EPIC to ensure safe, seamless, and patient-centered care.
