About The Position

The ALS Therapy Development Institute is seeking Tri-State Trek Production Assistants to support its annual bike ride fundraiser aimed at ending ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a large-scale event within the ALS community. The ideal candidates will have experience or interest in event planning, catering, and/or athletic events.

Requirements

Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
Valid United States driver's license
Availability to work/travel every day in June (weekdays and weekends)

Responsibilities

Organize and clean all equipment and supplies
Audit inventory of equipment and supplies
Pick up donated products and rental vehicles
Assemble rider packets, roll t-shirts, ship packages, etc. for in-office preparations
Drive the entire route and put up arrow markers with a team of production assistants
Clean and neatly put away all equipment post-event
Set up and break down tents, tables, banners, signs, etc.
Carry and move water, ice, food & beverages, and other supplies or equipment
Drive the route and check that arrows are correct before riders are on the course
Execute any other duties assigned
