About The Position
The Maître d’ is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. This role manages reservations, seating flow, and front-of-house coordination while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, service, and presentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a host/maître d’ or front-of-house role (preferably upscale or fine dining)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
- Oversee dining room flow to maximize seating while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen team
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and gracefully
- Maintain an organized host stand and accurate reservation system
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of entrance and dining areas
- Uphold brand standards and service expectations at all times
- Assist with VIP guest relations and special requests
