Ryan Lawn & Tree is seeking a Tree Pruner / Arborist / Groundsman to join a skilled crew in caring for trees and shrubs on residential client properties. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Good physical condition with the ability to lift 50+ lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
Ability to climb and work aloft safely
Ability to obtain DOT certification, pass background check, and drug screenings
Valid driver’s license required
Strong team-player mindset with a commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

ISA Certified Arborist credential (or actively working toward certification)
Prior experience in a professional tree care, landscaping, or forestry environment
Familiarity with ANSI A300 pruning and safety standards
Experience operating aerial lifts or bucket trucks
Forestry, horticulture, or a related field is a plus
Prior industry experience

Responsibilities

Perform tree pruning, canopy work, and structural pruning following industry best practices
Assist with tree removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding as needed
Work safely at height-climbing and/or operating aerial equipment, while following all safety protocols
Operate small engine equipment including chain saws, pole saws, shears, and string trimmers
Function effectively as both a team member and an independent operator depending on the task
Communicate professionally with clients regarding the scope, process, and expectations of services
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project
