About The Position

Alpine Tree Service is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their high-growth, full-service tree care company. This is a production role focused on the safe and efficient execution of tree removals and pruning operations. The ideal candidate will be a professional who moves with purpose, thinks ahead, and contributes to the overall performance of the crew, adhering strictly to ANSI standards. This role is not suitable for individuals who require constant direction or tend to cut corners.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years tree climbing experience (production experience required)
• Valid and insurable Driver’s License (required)
• Experience with rigging and removals
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow and execute work orders via mobile systems
• English (Required)

Nice To Haves

• CDL strongly preferred
• Crane experience (preferred)
• Tree Climbing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Crane Climbing : 2 years (Preferred)
• CDL (Preferred)
• ISA Arborist Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tree climbing for removals, pruning, and rigging
• Execute all work in accordance with ANSI Z133 safety standards
• Work in coordination with crane operators and ground crew
• Set up and manage rigging systems efficiently
• Maintain strong situational awareness on active job sites
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear and equipment
• Contribute to jobsite efficiency, organization, and cleanup
• Communicate clearly with crew and leadership
