About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their founding team in the North Chicago territory. This role involves performing expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work in upscale neighborhoods. As a key member of a 2-4 person crew, you will work with premium equipment and have opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years professional tree climbing experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols
• Physical ability to perform demanding climbing work
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to train others

Nice To Haves

• ISA Certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work
• Communicate effectively with crew leader and team members
• Maintain professional image and represent JTE's premium brand standards
• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with homeowners
• Delegate work to ground crew and ensure safe operations
• Maintain assigned equipment and climbing gear to company standards
• Follow comprehensive safety protocols and ANSI standards
• Identify and communicate upselling opportunities to crew leader
• Understand and operate aerial lift equipment as needed
