About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a premier tree care company in NE Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber. This role is crucial for our tree crews, assisting in tree removal, pruning, and general preservation. The Tree Climber will work with a 2-4 person crew, ensuring safe operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the team. We are committed to professional development and offer paid training to keep our climbers updated on industry technology and techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience in tree climbing, rigging, and removals.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
• Ensure safe tree operations.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the crew.
• Communicate with crew leader and coworkers effectively.
• Maintain professional image.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow company safety culture.
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Utilize understanding of aerial lift operations.
