About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a premier tree care, lawn care, and pest control company, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber. This role is crucial for ensuring safe and effective tree operations, including removal, pruning, and preservation. The Tree Climber will work as part of a 2-4 person crew, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety standards, and interacting with clients and the public.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in tree climbing
• Valid driver's license
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week
• Understanding of aerial lift operations

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist (or desire to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew leader and coworkers effectively
• Maintain professional image
• Provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques
• Ensure safe tree operations
• Communicate with clients and public near the job site
