About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts, the premier North Dallas tree care team, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. As a key member of 2-4 person crews, you will work in beautiful neighborhoods serving discerning homeowners who invest in professional tree care. The role involves performing expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work, maintaining a professional image, providing excellent customer service, delegating work to the ground crew, and ensuring safe operations. You will also maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, identify upselling opportunities, and operate aerial lift equipment as needed. The position offers a minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities and year-round employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years professional tree climbing experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols
- Physical ability to perform demanding climbing work
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to train others
Responsibilities
- Perform expert tree climbing for removals, pruning, and preservation work
- Communicate effectively with crew leader and team members
- Maintain professional image and represent JTE's premium brand standards
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with homeowners
- Delegate work to ground crew and ensure safe operations
- Maintain assigned equipment and climbing gear to company standards
- Follow comprehensive safety protocols and ANSI standards
- Identify and communicate upselling opportunities to crew leader
- Work minimum 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
- Understand and operate aerial lift equipment as needed
