About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts, a leading tree care company in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber/Crew Leader to join their team. This role involves working with a 2-4 person crew on tree removal, pruning, and preservation. The Tree Climber is crucial for ensuring safe operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew, clients, and the public. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in tree climbing.
- Physical ability to climb every day.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
- Ensure safe tree operations.
- Maintain assigned equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the crew, clients, and the public near the job site.
- Communicate with crew leader and coworkers effectively to maintain a professional image.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
- Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
- Follow company safety culture.
- Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
- Understand aerial lift operations.
