This is a leadership position where the individual will be the expert, mentor, and backbone of a small crew. The company focuses on investing in employees with paid education, advanced certifications, and top-tier equipment.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on tree care experience, including pruning, removals, climbing, and rigging.
Deep understanding of tree species, common diseases, and best-in-class arboricultural practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to inspire a team.
Effective communication skills with both crew and clients.
Proficiency with all tree care equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site leader for a team of 3, providing hands-on direction, mentorship, and support on every job.
Be responsible for the entire job lifecycle, including morning job prep, equipment maintenance, CRM job management and end-of-day activities like clean up and chip drop.
Act as the lead climber and field expert, ensuring all residential and commercial tree care services are performed safely and efficiently.
Manage all client communication on-site, ensuring complete satisfaction and upholding high standards of professionalism.
Champion a safety-first culture by setting up the job site, delegating work, and ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols and equipment standards.
