About The Position
Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is hiring a full-time Treatment Support Technician at our REST Program in Waynesburg, PA. This role is ideal for someone seeking a meaningful job in a structured environment where they can make a difference. The Treatment Support Technician will be a key part of the treatment team, responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment for residents during overnight hours. The position offers engaging work where no two days are the same.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged overnight.
- Valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record.
- Willingness to complete required PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, drug screen, 2-Step TB test, and CPR/First Aid.
- If in recovery, 18+ months in recovery required.
Nice To Haves
- Lived experience in recovery is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients through overnight programming and activities.
- Monitoring safety, behavior, and daily living needs.
- Acting as a go-between for clients and clinical staff.
- Helping with intakes, paperwork, assessments, and documentation.
- Assisting during crises (with training and supervision).
- Transporting clients to meetings or appointments when needed.
- Supporting recovery-focused routines with empathy and professionalism.
- Receiving frequent supervision, guidance, and training.
