About The Position

We are a family-focused pediatric dental practice in Lexington looking for a Treatment Plan/Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for helping families understand their child's recommended treatment, coordinating care, and managing patient accounts and insurance follow-up.

Requirements

• Dental office experience with knowledge of dental billing, insurance, AR, and collections
• Comfortable discussing treatment and financial responsibilities with parents
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Positive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing and comfortable working with kids and families
• A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Present treatment plans, financial information, and next steps to families at checkout
• Coordinate dental surgery treatment and scheduling
• Manage accounts receivable and assist with patient collections
• Follow up on denied and outstanding insurance claims
• Answer phones and assist families throughout their experience
• Work closely with the doctor and office manager to keep treatment and patient care moving smoothly
