About The Position
This role is open to cover a leave of absence, which is expected to end in approximately October 2026. There is an opportunity to stay on PRN after the leave is completed. The compensation starts at $45/hr. Ridgeway Post Acute is looking for a dedicated Treatment Nurse to join their team. This position offers support, respect, and purpose within a close-knit community, and is suitable for experienced treatment nurses or those looking to grow in this specialty.
Requirements
- Active California LVN or RN license
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented, compassionate, and team-focused
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in wound care or as a Treatment Nurse in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled wound care and skin assessments in alignment with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor healing progress and ensure accurate documentation
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to create strong resident outcomes
- Educate staff on skin integrity, prevention strategies, and best practices
- Participate in care planning and help guide our holistic approach to healing
