The Treatment LPN/RN is responsible for documenting resident conditions and nursing needs, accurately implementing physician's orders, and performing weekly skin audits. This role involves managing wound care, assigning nursing tasks, performing treatments, and participating in staff training. The position also requires assisting physicians, ensuring adequate supplies, maintaining clean and safe work and resident areas, and contributing to the Quality Assurance Program for wound care. Additionally, the Treatment LPN/RN will communicate with resident families, report on wound status to management, consult with other departments on complex cases, and oversee the facility's Infection Control Program. This includes monitoring infections, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring efficient use of supplies and equipment. The role also involves responding to resident needs, reporting suspected abuse, and promoting positive staff morale.
