About The Position

We are seeking a Treatment Foster Care Admissions Specialist to join our team. Your role will manage referrals and placements for youth in our Treatment Foster Care program. This role involves evaluating referrals, coordinating admissions and financial eligibility, maintaining accurate reports and data, and supporting foster families through licensing, training, and respite tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of trauma-informed care and child development, and the ability to work across departments and with community stakeholders. As a member of the Treatment Foster Care team, you will work with other team members and report to our Treatment Foster Care Manager.

Requirements

3 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other human services related field is required.
At least 21 years of age
Pass background check, physical and drug screening.
A valid driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Review referrals for Treatment Foster Care youth and evaluate their suitability to ensure the best possible match with an appropriate Treatment Foster Home, following established best practices.
Maintain frequent communication with guardians of youth referred for services.
Coordinate pre-admission, admission and re-authorization of financial eligibility for each youth enrolled in the program.
Work collaboratively across program lines to ensure program needs are met. This may include but is not limited to Finance, Foster Care Case Management, and Outpatient.
