About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our modern dental office. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping patients understand their treatment plans, navigate financial options, and overcome any barriers to receiving necessary care. You will work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience and efficient office operations. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday-Friday schedule, offering opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Requirements

  • Dental-office or patient-facing dental experience
  • Confidence discussing treatment costs and financial options
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, or insurance
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a productive office
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Professional judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to protect confidential patient and financial information

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in treatment coordination, dental scheduling, patient care, treatment presentation, collections, financing, or dental practice-management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Present treatment plans clearly and compassionately
  • Help patients understand recommended care and the importance of completing treatment
  • Explain insurance estimates, patient portions, payment options, and financing programs
  • Identify financial, scheduling, or emotional barriers and help patients find appropriate solutions
  • Schedule recommended treatment before patients leave whenever possible
  • Maintain an accurate pending-treatment list and follow up consistently
  • Track treatment presented, accepted, and scheduled
  • Document treatment conversations and financial arrangements accurately
  • Review schedules, balances, copayments, and treatment opportunities before the day begins
  • Collect patient portions according to company procedures
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with benefit estimates
  • Help fill schedule openings with outstanding treatment
  • Participate prepared in Morning Huddle
  • Partner with dentists, hygienists, assistants, Patient Care Coordinators, and office leadership
  • Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and company requirements
