About The Position

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to creating a 5-star patient experience by helping patients understand their treatment, navigate insurance benefits, coordinate appointments, and achieve their oral health goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental front office, treatment coordinator, patient coordinator, or similar dental administrative role.
Knowledge of dental insurance verification, treatment planning, and financial arrangements.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
A professional and polished demeanor with strong attention to detail.
A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional patient experiences.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Proficiency with computers
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up 15- 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, delivering a welcoming and professional experience.
Manage a multi-line phone system to schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while optimizing provider schedules
Ensure schedules remain productive and filled for doctors and hygienists.
Collect and update patient personal and insurance information in Denticon accurately.
Check in and check out patients with professionalism and care.
Present and review treatment plans to promote case acceptance.
Educate patients on recommended treatment, financial options, and insurance benefits.
Help assist in verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, maintaining accurate records.
Process payments and enforce financial policies accurately and courteously.
Maintain accurate electronic patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support office operations.
