About The Position

Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join their team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate their insurance benefits, coordinate appointments, and take the next step toward achieving their oral health goals.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a dental front office or similar dental administrative role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• A professional, polished, and positive demeanor.
• A passion for creating exceptional patient experiences.
• Confidence communicating treatment plans and financial information with patients.
• The ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 15–20 lbs. as needed.

• Experience with Denticon is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Help maintain productive provider schedules by effectively coordinating patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Present and review treatment plans with patients while helping them understand their recommended care and financial options.
• Support treatment acceptance by confidently communicating the value of recommended treatment.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
• Collect payments and follow established financial policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in Denticon.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA and company privacy requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the practice.
