About The Position

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Full-time Treasury Sales Officer II for our Spanish Fork branches. This position is primarily responsible for driving new Treasury Management business, commercial deposit growth, revenue generation, and client acquisition for the Bank. The Treasury Sales Officer develops and manages a portfolio of business clients and prospects by identifying deposit growth opportunities, actively prospecting new customers, and delivering consultative sales solutions that include treasury products and services, commercial card, merchant services, and related banking solutions. This position is expected to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners, including commercial lending, retail banking, mortgage, and other areas of the Bank, to deepen relationships, generate referrals, and provide comprehensive financial solutions. Success in this role requires strong sales skills, disciplined pipeline management, relationship management, effective presentations, competitive market awareness, and the ability to match client needs with appropriate Bank products and services.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years previous work experience in a Treasury Management or other sales role with consistent achievement of sales goals; experience managing a moderate client base.
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Treasury Management products/services and operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline to achieve sales goals.
  • Effective interpersonal style with the ability to effectively interface with clients, other employees, and senior management.
  • Knowledge of sales.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
  • Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
  • Ability to adapt to change (e.g., shifting priorities, demands, and timelines) through time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
  • Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Responsibilities

  • Drives commercial deposit growth, treasury management revenue, and new customer acquisition through proactive calling, prospecting, referrals, and consultative sales activity.
  • Works closely with commercial lending, retail banking, mortgage, and other bank partners to identify client needs, generate qualified referrals, and deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
  • Develops channels to prospect new Treasury Management clients, manages a disciplined prospect pipeline, and follows up consistently to move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Calls on prospective and existing business customers to develop new Treasury Management relationships, expand deposit balances, and increase product penetration.
  • Promotes and sells treasury products and services, commercial card solutions, merchant services, and other deposit-related products based on client needs and Bank priorities.
  • Provides consultative expertise to existing Treasury Management clients and prospects to assess cash flow, payment, receivables, fraud prevention, and deposit service needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Creates and delivers sales presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and pricing recommendations that clearly communicate value and address client needs.
  • Obtains new clients and expands existing relationships to increase core deposits, fee income, commercial card adoption, merchant services usage, and overall relationship profitability.
  • Services new and existing accounts, monitors and assesses customer relationships to ensure proper servicing, customer satisfaction, retention, and identification of additional growth opportunities.
  • Performs regular client follow-ups and relationship reviews, including yearly reviews with top clients, to strengthen retention and deepen relationships.
  • Provides employee and internal customer Treasury Management training, limited technical support, and product demonstrations to improve referral quality and sales effectiveness across the Bank.
  • Works with other members of the Treasury team to understand market trends, competitive offerings, pricing, product capabilities, and client needs.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learner responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.
