Your work directly contributes to expanding client relationships and delivering value beyond traditional lending, driving deposit growth and diversifying revenue streams, and positioning Rio Bank as a trusted financial partner in our communities. The Treasury Management Sales & Business Development Officer drives growth by expanding treasury relationships, supporting lenders, and delivering solutions that strengthen client partnerships and increase deposit and fee income. This role is central to how Rio Bank grows and serves its clients. Treasury Management solutions help businesses operate more efficiently, manage cash flow, and stay competitive. As a Treasury Management Sales & Business Development Officer, you will help businesses operate more effectively through tailored financial solutions, strengthen long-term client relationships beyond lending, and contribute directly to the Bank’s growth through deposits and fee income. The Treasury Management Sales & Business Development Officer drives deposit growth and fee income by developing new business relationships and expanding existing partnerships. This role collaborates closely with lenders and internal teams to deliver tailored treasury solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of banking, treasury management, or business development experience
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products and services
  • Proven ability to generate new business
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of treasury services (ACH, wires, cash management, etc.)
  • Proven track record of generating business and building relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify and grow treasury opportunities across your portfolio
  • Partner with lenders to expand relationships
  • Manage a pipeline and meet production goals
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treasury solutions
  • Deliver presentations and product education
  • Ensure strong client experience and retention
  • Support onboarding and implementation of treasury services
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Represent Rio Bank in the community
  • Stay current on industry trends and opportunities
  • Generate new treasury management relationships and expand existing accounts
  • Present solutions and provide ongoing support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding
  • Support relationship management and service delivery
  • Participate in community and networking activities
