About The Position

CAMILLO COMPANIES IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED TREASURY MANAGER TO BUILD AND LEAD THE TREASURY FUNCTION ACROSS ITS FAMILY OF BUSINESSES, WHICH INCLUDES A LAND DEVELOPER (ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT), A HOMEBUILDER (LEGEND HOMES), AND A BUILD-TO-RENT SINGLE-FAMILY OPERATOR (SIMPLYHOME). THIS IS A NEWLY CREATED IN-HOUSE ROLE WITH BROAD OWNERSHIP OF DAILY CASH OPERATIONS, LIQUIDITY PLANNING, BANKING RELATIONSHIPS, DEBT COMPLIANCE, AND INTERCOMPANY FUNDING ACROSS A COMBINED PORTFOLIO OF OVER $100M–$500M IN CASH ACTIVITY. THE TREASURY MANAGER WILL SERVE AS THE PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT FOR ALL BANKING AND LENDER RELATIONSHIPS, MANAGE LINE OF CREDIT DRAW PROCESSES AND ASSIST IN CONSTRUCTION LOAN DRAWS AS NEEDED, AND DEVELOP SCALABLE TREASURY INFRASTRUCTURE TO SUPPORT CAMILLO’S CONTINUED GROWTH IN TEXAS AND EXPANSION INTO NEW MARKETS. THIS ROLE SITS WITHIN THE FINANCE FUNCTION AND REPORTS DIRECTLY TO THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, PARTNERING CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY WITH ACCOUNTING, FP&A, AND THE LEADERSHIP TEAMS ACROSS ALL BUSINESS UNITS. THE POSITION WILL NOT HAVE ANY DIRECT REPORTS, AT LEAST INITIALLY, BUT WILL RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM ANALYSTS IN THE COMPANY’S FINANCE TEAM.

  • Deep knowledge of cash management principles, debt structures, and treasury operations best practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing revolving credit facilities and term debt; knowledge or prior experience of construction loan draws is a plus.
  • Lender reporting experience is essential and direct experience in a real estate, homebuilding, or BTR context is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling required; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., Sage, Yardi, JD Edwards) and bank portal / online banking systems.
  • Experience with loan management or draw tracking software a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units and legal entities.

  • 5–8 years of treasury, cash management, or related finance experience; corporate treasury or banking/financial services background strongly preferred with at least 3 years in a senior or manager role.
  • Experience supporting real estate, BTR/SFR, multifamily, or construction-related businesses, while not required, is a significant plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CPA and/or MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facility terms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positioning across all Camillo Companies entities, including Academy Development, Legend Homes, and SimplyHome.
  • Enhance existing cash forecasts to provide business level and top of house views; monitor variances and advise leadership on liquidity outlook.
  • Oversee intercompany funding and cash pooling across entities to optimize working capital and minimize idle balances.
  • Establish and enforce cash management policies, controls, and procedures across the enterprise.
  • Partner with the CFO as the assistant relationship manager for all banking partners; support or, as appropriate, lead negotiation of terms, manage fee structures, and ensure service levels meet business needs.
  • Manage existing credit facilities, lines of credit, and construction loans, including draw requests, availability tracking, and compliance with lender requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal and accounting on loan closings, amendments, and renewals across the portfolio.
  • Evaluate and onboard new banking products or platforms to support operational efficiency and risk management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive debt schedule covering all credit facilities, construction loans, and term debt across entities.
  • Monitor financial covenants and reporting obligations; prepare and deliver compliance certificates on schedule.
  • Coordinate with lenders on covenant waivers, amendments, or cure provisions as needed.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure debt obligations are properly reflected in financial statements and forecasts.
  • Manage the full draw process for construction loans and lines of credit across active development projects, including documentation preparation, submission, and funding tracking.
  • Coordinate with project management, accounting, and title to ensure draw packages are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Track draw availability, budget-to-actual disbursements, and project-level borrowing capacity.
  • Develop and implement a short-term investment strategy for excess operating cash in accordance with company policy and risk tolerance.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with money market funds, sweep accounts, and other approved investment vehicles.
  • Monitor yields, maturities, and liquidity to ensure funds are available when needed for operations and capital deployment.
  • Prepare and present regular treasury reports to the CFO covering cash position, debt capacity, covenant status, and interest expense.
  • Advise leadership on financing strategies related to land acquisitions, lot takedowns, BTR project funding, and other capital events.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities across treasury operations.
  • Build scalable workflows and documentation to support continued portfolio and geographic growth.
  • All other duties as assigned.
