About The Position

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Full-time Treasury Management Support Specialist I Representative for our Pleasant Grove Service Center. The Treasury Management Operations Specialist serves as the subject matter expert and primary resource for all Treasury Management Banking products and services. Handles business setups, customer calls, demonstrations and walkthroughs with customers, technical support, annual reviews and other daily processes. Also completes a range of duties including; researching, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to all Treasury Management products and services. This role will also handle internal and external customer inquiries for all related activities. Utilize knowledge and expertise to assist/educate team members in all aspects of department. Help customers improve their banking experience and build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and recommend bank products and services that meet their banking needs. This is an in-office position.

Requirements

  • Up to six months of similar or related experience.
  • High School Diploma
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to maintain a heavy volume of correspondence, personal contact, and telephone communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independent of daily supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have an aptitude for technology and technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Must learn/understand the technical aspects of electronic banking and treasury products and services.
  • Knowledge of Jack Henry system

  • Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
  • Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
  • Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and training to customers on all treasury management products.
  • Expand and build relationships, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing, and servicing the treasury needs of clients.
  • Respond to customer questions and issues regarding Treasury and Cash Management systems and services to ensure effective customer system utilization and understanding.
  • Conduct annual review and audit of each Treasury Management customer and their individual controls to mitigate unnecessary risk.
  • Daily review of reports for eBanking & Fraud.
  • Handle set up of customers online banking access, mobile deposit, positive pay, wires, ACH, bill pay, and RDN deposits.
  • Provides support for branches and internal departments related to Treasury Management products and services.
  • Assist Treasury Management sales team as needed. May include joint calls with customers.
  • Stay current on treasury management trends, best practices, and customer challenges.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships with detailed customer call logs and timely follow up.
  • Handle research and process maintenance requests.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all customers financial information.
  • Complete other tasks and projects assigned.

Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy. Attend and participate in meetings as required.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual’s responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.
