About The Position

The Treasury Management Sales Officer will educate existing or prospective commercial customers on a variety of Treasury Management Products and Services. The goal is to assist customers with streamlining their day-to-day operations, improve cash flow, and reduce their exposure to potential fraud.

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in general bank operations, including electronic banking, payment systems, and other bank core systems.
  • Two years of experience working with customers in a professional environment, both on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Experience working with a variety of customers, including senior bank officers, with a high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Experience in a sales and service environment.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment handling multiple projects.
  • Excellent computer literacy in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use Adobe Standard and Reader.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various internet browsers.
  • Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax, laptop, projectors, audio visual equipment, check scanners, and iPad.
  • Must be able to hear and speak to communicate with customers.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be accustomed to a fast-paced office environment.
  • Must have the ability to work with frustrated or anxious customers.
  • Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer.
  • Must be able to use telephone headsets.
  • Must be able to type on a keyboard.
  • Must be able to speak to and hear customers.
  • Must be able to read a laptop/computer monitor.
  • Must be able to be mobile in an office environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to make calls in Austin with footprint in New Braunfels and surrounding Hill Country areas.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree, preferred.
  • Experience in presenting products to large, preferred business customers or individuals.
  • Core banking systems (Jack Henry Silverlake, ProfitStars, preferred).
  • Proficient use and installation of Remote Deposit Capture Scanners.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on supporting internal sales channels (Banking Centers, Private Banking, Commercial Lending) via CRM requests.
  • Be well versed in all Treasury Management product offerings, including but not limited to ACH, Same Day ACH, Domestic and International Wires, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Payee Match, Teller Positive Pay, ACH Filters, Lockbox, Merchant Services, Treasury Management Platform, and various Treasury Reporting.
  • Conduct sales-driven, purposeful calls for all TM Services at customer locations, via Zoom, or phone support.
  • Be readily available and highly responsive to internal Bank partners, existing or prospective customers’ requests.
  • Prepare and present tailored demo presentations for internal Bank partners, existing customers, and/or prospects.
  • Coordinate appointments with Treasury Management Implementation Specialists and Bank Servicing Officers.
  • Present training sessions for customers independently or in conjunction with other officers.
  • Perform site visits and maintain related documentation.
  • Contact new and existing customers to introduce Treasury Management products and services.
  • Perform customer base analysis to determine target markets for Treasury Management Services.
  • Maintain accurate records via CRM or future CRM-related applications of customer calls, including planning and coordinating call schedules for efficiency within customer request times.
  • Utilize bank’s technology such as PDF, Adobe E-Sign, and secured e-mail to deliver customer-specific documents.
  • Prepare various monthly reports for the Treasury Management Sales Manager.
  • Maintain and ensure accurate records of the TM boarding process and security elections according to quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct independent research on the latest technology for Online Banking services.
  • Stay abreast of new Treasury Management technologies, including ERP Systems, File Formatting types and integrations, new Operations systems, Browser compatibility, and Mobile devices utilized for Treasury Management Services.
  • Participate, promote, and/or coordinate community events related to Treasury Management Commercial Services.
  • Deploy a high level of problem-solving skills to expedite resolutions for customer issues.
  • Serve as a customer advocate and support positive relationships through problem-solving or custom requests from customers.
  • Assist Treasury Management Implementation Specialists and Treasury Management Support with special projects.
  • Practice independent time management skills to efficiently plan daily activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
