First Bank is currently seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Treasury Management Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll help businesses optimize their banking operations by delivering tailored treasury-management solutions, onboarding clients to cash management products, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the relationship lifecycle. Requirements

  • At least five years of business development or banking experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Solid understanding of business accounting principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new depository relationships by proactively identifying and engaging prospective business clients.
  • Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate cash-management solutions tailored to each customers operations.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and product recommendations tailored to client needs.
  • Partner with commercial lenders and retail team to support cross-selling efforts and deepen existing relationships.
  • Lead the setup and implementation of treasury products including digital banking platforms, ACH services, wire transfers, positive pay, remote deposit capture, and merchant services.
  • Provide hands-on training to clients to ensure they understand system functionality, security features, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal operations and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate product installation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for cash management customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving service requests.
  • Monitor account activity and product usage to identify opportunities for optimization or additional services.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Maintain cash management information on the online Vault (intranet), website, and provide content for cash management e-newsletter.
  • Ensure all cash-management activities comply with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
  • Assist clients in understanding fraud-prevention tools and promote adoption of services such as positive pay and dual-control processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all product setups, agreements, and client interactions.
  • Work as one collective bank team and assist in other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
