About The Position

Job Summary The Treasury Management Cash Vault Operations Manager is responsible for leading Huntington’s Cash Vault Operations team, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant processing of cash deposits, withdrawals, and currency logistics for Treasury Management clients. This role provides operational leadership, strengthens risk and control disciplines, manages armored carrier partnerships, and drives process improvements that support Huntington’s commitment to “Doing the Right Thing,” operational excellence, and best‑in-class client experience. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Execution - Oversee daily Cash Vault Operations, including cash processing, verification, inventory management, and order fulfillment across supported vault locations. - Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in all processing activities aligned with Huntington’s standards and Federal Reserve requirements. - Manage workflow, volume forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet service-level agreements (SLAs). Risk Management, Compliance & Controls - Maintain strong internal controls, dual-control requirements, and adherence to operational risk frameworks. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including BSA/AML considerations for cash-intensive activity, and audit expectations. - Conduct routine vault audits, reconcile variances, and implement corrective actions to remediate control gaps. - Partner with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit on examinations and ongoing risk readiness. Process Improvement & Strategy - Identify and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen accuracy through automation, workflow redesign, and operational innovation. - Monitor KPIs, operational dashboards, and error metrics; use insights to improve performance and reduce operational risk. - Support the continuous modernization of Huntington’s cash logistics strategy, technology, and processes. Vendor & Partner Relationship Management - Manage armored carrier relationships, ensuring SLA adherence, timely escalation, and issue resolution. - Partner with Treasury Management Sales, Product, and Client Advocacy to resolve client escalations and support complex cash logistics needs. - Oversee vendor performance reviews, contractual compliance, and root-cause analysis for service issues. Leadership & Talent Development - Lead, coach, and mentor a team of cash vault professionals, promoting development, engagement, and accountability. - Recruit, train, and develop team members to support Huntington’s culture and operational excellence. - Build a culture focused on “People First,” safety, integrity, and continuous improvement. Client Service & Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as a subject matter expert for Cash Vault services, providing guidance to internal partners and supporting client implementations. - Collaborate with TM Product, Technology, and Operations leaders to enhance the Cash Vault product and operational capabilities. - Support escalated client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution aligned with Huntington’s client-first approach. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 or more years of experience in cash vault operations, financial operations, cash logistics, or Treasury Management.
  • 2 or more years leadership or supervisory experience; prior experience in a regulated financial environment with change management
  • Experience with operational risk, control disciplines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work within a secure vault environment.
  • Must meet Huntington’s background screening requirements for handling currency and sensitive financial assets.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or related discipline OR equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of cash operations, armored carrier logistics, and Treasury Management Cash Vault services.
  • Experienced with leveraging KPIs and data to drive decisions.
  • Experience with leading teams in a high-volume, accuracy‑critical environment.
  • High integrity and strong decision-making under pressure.
