About The Position

The Treasury Management Analyst (TMA) serves as a key contributor to the growth and success of the Treasury Management business. This role supports new business development by partnering closely with the Treasury Management Consultant (TMC) to drive revenue growth, strengthen client retention, and enhance the overall client experience. The TMA is actively engaged throughout the entire sales lifecycle, providing strategic insights, analytical support, client engagement and coordination to advance portfolio growth and deliver a best‑in‑class client experience. They are responsible for building and collaborating with others to identify and engage an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and/or expand existing client relationships all while enhancing the client experience – they seamlessly partner to deliver the entire bank to the client by ensuring clients know ONB’s products and services and how those can be leveraged to maximize client achievement of desired goals and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or High School diploma/GED with relevant experience
  • Demonstrated results-oriented sales disposition focused on converting prospects into clients and/or proven sales experience with an interest in a TMC career path
  • Proficiency with interpreting and analyzing financial statements
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on researched conclusions/anticipated outcomes
  • Ability to work on multiple complex opportunities simultaneously while exercising attention to detail and thoroughness, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes; effectively shift priorities when needed
  • Thorough knowledge of data analytics
  • Agile, flexible, and able to adapt to frequent change as/when needed
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and team members; thrive in a team setting including an environment where different work styles may exist

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Consultant(s) (TMCs) to execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and deepen relationships with new and existing clients
  • Actively engage and contribute to the sales process by proactively identifying new business opportunities (may be through reporting and/or other tools) and delivering on cross‑sell efforts across the TM product suite; may submit completed profiles and own appropriate solution recommendations
  • Complete comprehensive profitability and analytical profiling for current and prospective client relationships including but not limited to analyzing data to identify trends, efficiency opportunities, and revenue optimization strategies, including new business cross‑sell. and pricing opportunities that support portfolio growth
  • In partnership with the Treasury Management Consultant, develop pricing strategies, build financial models and evaluate the profitability of current and prospective client relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and timely billing of treasury services. Compile information and prepare final drafts of proposals, RFIs, and RFPs with minimal direction from TMCs
  • Partner with TMCs throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline activity, Salesforce and other reporting, and forecasting
  • Maintain current and up-to-date on knowledge of ONB TM products and services; share information internal and externally as appropriate
  • Prepare client‑facing materials including proposals, presentations, pricing models, cost‑benefit analysis, competitive analysis, working capital models, and client research with a focus on upselling new TM services and identifying new opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and joint sales calls with TMCs and/or other Commercial RM partners to build trust, understand business needs, and deliver the entire Bank to the client
  • Participate in client events such as roundtables, lunch‑and‑learns, and receptions to help build pipeline and strengthen client engagement
  • Contribute to achieving team revenue targets and supporting the continued growth of the Treasury Management business
  • Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequence
