About The Position

The Treasury Management Analyst provides entry-level sales support, commercial customer service, and onboarding for new services and accounts. The role helps promote treasury management products to maintain and grow the commercial portfolio. Work includes coordinating and storing required documentation, demonstrating new services and providing training, maintaining accounts and services, processing pricing changes, and providing ongoing commercial customer service.

The analyst supports treasury management products and services including deposit accounts, merchant services, business purchasing cards, On-Site Banker, and online banking. The position serves as a primary customer-service contact for commercial deposit products and services and third-party vendor questions, supports Treasury Management Officers and business development teams, and promotes digital treasury product adoption. The role is based in a professional office environment, with occasional travel to clients, market areas, seminars, or offsite training. The posting indicates the position may be full-time or seasonal.

Requirements

• One-year college certificate or six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and client communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation and merchant service agreements.
• Strong digital literacy, including comfort with email, internet, and financial systems.
• Experience with, or ability to learn, systems relevant to merchant and treasury support functions.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents and communicate effectively with clients and groups of clients or employees.
• Ability to use telephone systems and learn computer programs relevant to treasury management and merchant-related duties.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve challenging problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to travel occasionally to market areas and attend offsite seminars or training sessions.
• Ability to meet the essential physical demands and work-environment requirements, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for treasury management products and services, including deposit accounts, merchant services, business purchasing cards, On-Site Banker, and online banking.
• Serve as a primary contact for commercial deposit product and service customer questions and third-party vendor questions.
• Assist with treasury training for branches and other internal partners.
• Escalate issues to the Treasury Sales Officer and/or operations as needed.
• Coordinate ordering equipment and supplies from vendors and provide equipment installation support.
• Work with business development officers to promote deposit products and services to commercial business customers.
• Provide administrative support to Treasury Management Officers, including preparing sales materials, providing technical support, fee billing, and account maintenance.
• Provide reporting and analysis as requested, manage exception items, and conduct audit research as requested.
• Build relationships with customers, businesses, and community and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate business; actively participate in the community.
• Promote and refer products and services by identifying customer needs, explaining solutions, and providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Promote awareness and adoption of digital treasury products in partnership with business development teams.
• Pursue relevant learning opportunities and complete assigned training courses.
