About The Position

The Treasury & Finance Analyst reports to the Vice President, FP&A and is accountable for supporting CINQCARE’s financial operations through disciplined analysis, accurate reporting, and dependable day-to-day execution across treasury, cash management, and accounts payable. The role provides the financial operations support, judgment, organization, and evidence-based analysis that inform leadership decisions and help CINQCARE meet its requirements. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, energetic Treasury & Finance Analyst who is willing to roll up their sleeves to support end-to-end accounting and treasury operations. The Treasury & Finance Analyst supports the daily accounting operations and the accuracy of financial reporting for the Company under the direction of the Vice President, FP&A. They contribute to CINQCARE’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, the internal control environment, tax compliance support, and treasury/cash management. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who partners effectively with colleagues to drive value and positive change across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or an equivalent degree with a record of strong academic achievement.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance/controllership, preferably in a healthcare setting or regulated industry.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial: Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and comfortable prioritizing multiple work streams across daily responsibilities and long-term projects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; able to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Technology: Comprehensive knowledge of financial management systems (SAP, Oracle/NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.) and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheets and financial functions); adept at spreadsheet analysis and problem solving, including synthesizing financial data into accurate, clear presentations.
  • Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business partners and external constituents. A team player who builds relationships and works collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drives results across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of the 13-week rolling cash flow forecast, ensuring it refreshes on a consistent cadence.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to project future cash needs.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and execute short-term borrowing and investment activities to optimize liquidity.
  • Coordinate with treasury and finance teams to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and alignment with the overall financial strategy.
  • Maintain cash management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of provider incentives and payments.
  • Recommend improvements to policies and procedures that streamline accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and provider reconciliations.
  • Maintain provider relationships by clarifying payment terms and resolving payment discrepancies or disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
  • Conduct regular reviews of accounts payable and provider aging reports to manage cash outflows effectively.
  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of vendor invoices.
  • Perform the reconciliation of management & engagement payments received from payors for all contracts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments and adjustments in the financial systems.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between expected and actual payments.
  • Collaborate with the accounting, billing, and credentialing teams to streamline the reconciliation process and improve accuracy.
  • Gather and validate vendor spend, contract, and performance data for the Vendor ROI/TCO template and annual vendor review process.
  • Populate capability-level ROI models with unit-economics inputs for core value-based-care capabilities, under the direction of the Sr. Director.
  • Track findings against Long-Range Model (LRM) guardrails and flag variances for leadership review.
  • Maintain supporting documentation so vendor and capability analyses are audit-ready and repeatable.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to gather the data needed for cash flow and accounts payable analysis.
  • Support Treasury leadership in maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions, including gathering information to inform financing terms and options.
  • Facilitate effective communication among departments to keep cash flow and accounts payable activities aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on cash flow and accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cash flow and accounts payable, including credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
  • Recommend strategies to manage financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to address identified weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on cash flow and accounts payable for review by senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between forecasted and actual cash flow, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Use data analytics tools and techniques to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cash flow and accounts payable, and drive initiatives to improve performance.
