Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Up to 2 years’ proven Banking Deposit Operations experience or equivalent Treasury/Accounting experience preferred; knowing the difference between debits and credits required
Insurance background preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
Accurate 10-key by touch and moderate Excel skills required
Ability to adapt and respond to different types of people and tasks
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently
Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable

Responsibilities

Send daily/monthly issue files to numerous banks.
Research outstanding checks for all companies.
Place stop payments on checks and issue replacement checks when necessary.
Send ACH debit and credit files to numerous banks.
Pick-up ACH returns from numerous banks daily and process.
Reconcile several bank accounts from various banks for all clients, if required.
Positive Pay (paying or returning checks).
Produce first and second notice for outstanding checks, all follow-up.
Verifying remote deposits from Premium Accounting and filing until destroyed.
