About The Position

The Treasury Analyst supports global financial settlement and reconciliation activities between the organization, its clients, and partner networks. This role focuses on high-volume settlement funds transfers, wire processing, and bank account reconciliations while contributing to new client onboarding, reporting, issue resolution, business analysis, and operational process improvement. The Treasury Analyst also supports strategic initiatives, systems enhancements, business requirements, user acceptance testing, and reporting functions. Accuracy, timeliness, and meticulous attention to detail are critical to success in this position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with data related to payments, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Experience with payment processing, including wire fund transfer processing as a primary responsibility.
  • Understanding of Fedwire payment processing.
  • Understanding of SWIFT payment processing for international payments.
  • Experience performing domestic and international bank account reconciliations.
  • International settlement experience or direct experience supporting international settlement activities.
  • Strong and critical attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to work early hours from 5:30 AM PST to 2:30 PM PST.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently across cultures and time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work remotely as needed while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting international settlement activities is a major plus.
  • Experience with business analysis in a treasury or financial operations environment.
  • Exposure to general ledger processes, SOX-related controls, and audit support activities.
  • Experience working within a large Treasury organization or high-volume financial operations environment.
  • Interest in contributing to strategic initiatives and treasury technology enhancements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple leaders and stakeholders across a Treasury organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process wire fund transfers as the primary duty, ensuring timely and error-free execution.
  • Perform timely and accurate review and release of International, DPS, and National Net Service wire transfers.
  • Apply a solid understanding of Fedwire and SWIFT payment processing to support domestic and international payments.
  • Conduct domestic and international bank account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Complete approximately 200 reconciliations per day as an individual contributor in a high-volume environment.
  • Support international settlement operations across 28 currencies, ensuring proper funding and settlement.
  • Support settlement funds transfer operations, including payments, banking, international payments, general ledger activities, account reconciliation, SOX-related processes, and audit support.
  • Perform research, analysis, documentation, and reporting related to settlement and reconciliation activities.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve issues, escalating matters appropriately when necessary.
  • Contribute to business analysis and operational process improvement initiatives within Treasury operations.
  • Support strategic initiatives and treasury technology enhancements by providing operational insights and feedback.
  • Assist with defining business requirements and participating in user acceptance testing for systems enhancements.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to settlement, reconciliation, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across cultures and time zones to support global treasury operations.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
