About The Position

As a Treasury Analyst, you will support the Finance Department by analyzing and reporting on key treasury functions, including the Credit Union’s investment portfolio, asset-liability management, secondary mortgage operations, and cash/liquidity position. This role provides reliable financial insights to support management planning, decision-making, and overall financial strategy.

Requirements

3-5 years previous experience in planning and forecasting, data analytics, modeling and technology required, preferably in a Credit Union/Community Banking or Financial Services environment.
1-3 years in a similar capital markets/treasury function required.
Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics, or related, is required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring analytics and quantifying risks-&-returns of financial instruments/portfolio(s) to recommend purchase, sale, or hedge transactions.
Support capital market investment activities with pre-&-post purchase/sale analysis, due diligence, and documentation for securities, loans, borrowing, and brokered deposit activities.
Actively monitors and projects the Credit Union’s cash/liquidity position while managing the Credit Union’s collateral position.
Analyzes ALM strategies for income, expenses, balance sheet makeup, and capital for long-term sustainability and growth to support management decisions and the strategic business plan.
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget providing direction on investment purchase and wholesale funding strategy.
Monitors and research new developments from authoritative bodies (FASB, AICPA, NCUA, OFR) to identify financial/regulatory impact to the Credit Union.
Consistently and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects, sets objectives and goals, anticipates and adjusts for problems/roadblocks, and measures performance against goals to evaluate results.
Uses broad knowledge and perspective to create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
