About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking a Treasury Advisory Manager to lead a team of Treasury experts in advising global companies on their Treasury functions. This role involves designing and selecting treasury technology, assessing bank relationships, improving liquidity utilization, developing policies and controls, and identifying process-improvement recommendations. The manager will also develop treasury methodologies, own engagements from planning to completion, build relationships with various business leaders, create executive-level presentations, and utilize cutting-edge tools and AI for data analysis. Additionally, the role includes setting expectations for team members, reviewing work products, and supporting proposal development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in consulting, treasury advisory, corporate treasury, or finance transformation
  • 3+ years of relevant experience advising on bank relationship management, banking RFPs, banking services, price negotiations and bank account rationalizations
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with treasury transformations, vendor selections, and/or TMS implementations, such as: Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Integrity/Quantum, SAP TRM, etc.
  • 1+ year of experience supervising, coaching, or reviewing the work of other professionals.
  • Strong understanding of treasury best practices across bank relationship management, cash and liquidity forecasting, FX, debt capital markets, accounting and reconciliation, and/or system optimizations
  • Knowledge of various treasury instruments, financial institution services, and financial products
  • Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and communications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Prior client-facing consulting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly convey complex business concepts to internal and external project stakeholders
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Treasury experts to advise global companies on their Treasury function, including: designing and selecting treasury technology, assessing bank relationships and services, improving liquidity utilization, developing policies and controls, and identifying tech-agnostic, process-improvement recommendations
  • Develop and improve treasury methodologies, templates, accelerators, playbooks, and reusable deliverables.
  • Own engagements or major workstreams from planning through completion, including scope, workplans, staffing, milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks, governance and change requests
  • Build trusted relationships with treasury, finance, accounting, tax, IT, procurement, and business leaders and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders.
  • Develop executive-level presentations that translate complex issues into clear recommendations across processes, systems, and people
  • Utilize cutting-edge tools, software, and AI to analyze large datasets and translate findings into future-state processes, operating models, business cases, implementation roadmaps, requirements, and executive recommendations.
  • Set clear expectations and delegate work based on team members’ skills and development goals and review work products and ensure client-ready quality.
  • Support proposal development, scoping, resource estimates, pricing inputs, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
