About The Position
The New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the district treasurer. The candidate must possess proven leadership capabilities and a willingness to serve cooperatively and collaboratively with the Superintendent as the key leadership team in the district.
Requirements
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Willingness to serve cooperatively and collaboratively with the Superintendent as the key leadership team in the district
- Strong financial and detail-oriented reporting skills
- Knowledge of state and local funding issues, specifically all pertinent local, state, and federal laws pertaining to Ohio public schools
- Experience in effective process management and organizational skills
- Expertise in developing, communicating, and managing business office procedures
- Experience in the use of state accounting and reporting systems
- Ability to facilitate educational discussions/decisions from an economic perspective
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and practical communication skills
- Leadership skills in developing, implementing, and sustaining short and long term financial plans rooted in fiscal responsibility
- Experience with collective bargaining
- Letter emphasizing qualifications, recent achievements, and reason for interest
- Current resume
- Copy of valid Ohio School Treasurer License
- Copy of official credentials and transcripts
- Three (3) current letters of reference
