About The Position

This position is responsible for support and development of all Technical personnel that exists in their field of expertise. Support TPM and TRC activities. Technical support of new product start-up.

Requirements

  • Technical expert in their specialized field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of mechanical processes, welding, blueprints, electrical and pneumatics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Development of technical training materials in their technical field of expertise.
  • Develop of teaching aids such as demonstration models, visual aids, and One Point Lessons.
  • Provide technical training to Team Leader and Set-up in the department in their field of expertise
  • Mentor Team Leaders and Set-up in their technical field of expertise.
  • Maintain training records and documentation as required.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems in their field of expertise.
  • Ensure all equipment and dies meet TPM system standards in their field of expertise
  • Ensures execution of 5S, TPM and EF requirements for all equipment in their technical field of expertise
  • Assists P.E. with the process development of all new products
  • Assists P.E. with the development of all set-up manuals.
  • Participates and supports Production EF activity.
  • Required to assist with molding scrap reduction.
  • Ensures that department set-up manuals are developed and current.
  • Ensures all safety rules are observed in their field of expertise, with an emphasis on LOTO.
  • Uses all maintenance equipment to fabricate, weld, and assemble needed items.
  • Works with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Supports Production with time studies and process improvement activities.
  • Travel to support other DMNC companies inside and outside the United States.
  • Work flexible shifts as required.
  • Completes reports as required.
  • Follows all procedures and work instructions and makes recommendations to improve the process.
  • Notifies Leader immediately upon detecting any non-conformances.
  • Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assist in the problem solving process.
  • Communicates and practices DMNC’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Takes an active role in achieving and maintaining IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.
