About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Aide. In this role, the successful candidate will deliver meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients, distributes menus to patients, and collects dirty trays for warewashing.

Requirements

• High School or GED
• Strong communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills.
• Ability read well and write legibly.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• 1- 2 years In Food Service or Tray Passing.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Prints census sheets and delivers trays to patients on assigned units.
• Reads patient menus to confirm room number, diet, and date of birth.
• Retrieves dirty or finished trays for warewashing.
• Distributes appropriate menus to patients in advance of mealtime for selection.
• Uses proper scripting techniques in all interactions with patients.
