Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Aide - Part Time. In this role, the successful candidate Delivers meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients, distributes menus to patients, and collects dirty trays for warewashing.
Requirements
- High School or GED.
- Strong communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills.
- Ability read well and write legibly.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
Nice To Haves
- 1- 2 years In Food Service or Tray Passing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prints census sheets and delivers trays to patients on assigned units. Reads patient menus to confirm room number, diet, and date of birth.
- Retrieves dirty or finished trays for warewashing.
- Distributes appropriate menus to patients in advance of mealtime for selection.
- Uses proper scripting techniques in all interactions with patients.
