Summary Assists with the production and distribution of food and non-food items to the patients of the facility. Assists in meal delivery and clean up to maintain cleanliness during and after meal service. Assists with delivery of carts and pick-up of carts returning to kitchen. Assists in all duties related to meal distribution.

Requirements

• 1 year
• Ability to follow strict health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of clinical diets.
• Strong desire to actively look for ways to continuous help people.

Nice To Haves

• Must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing such items as salads, deserts, or other nourishment.
• Delivers clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen unit.
• Delivers late trays and other food items to patient care areas.
• Maintains tray line in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
• Disposes of trash and garbage and relines trash barrels.
• Performs special cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Serves meals using the established standards to maintain sanitation and quality.
• Loads trays onto meal trucks.
