About The Position

The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) is accepting applications for an as-needed TRAX Operator in Titus County. This position is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services to individuals, including those with disabilities, and for operating and maintaining TRAX vehicles. The role involves filling in for absent drivers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of vehicle operations.
• Must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation.
• Must possess verbal, people skills.
• Ability to think through situations and deal with problems constructively.
• Ability to deal with stress.
• Must be self-motivated with a clean driving record.
• Ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
