About The Position

This role provides general construction labor tasks in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a welding crew for precast panels. The position involves completing general construction labor tasks necessary to caulk precast concrete panels, taking direction from a welding crew foreperson, and performing miscellaneous work as directed. The welder is expected to use materials and supplies efficiently, handle equipment responsibly, and follow all established safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• 3G & 4G Certified Welder
• AWS Certification
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Ability to work from ladders and aerial work platforms above 20 ft
• Ability to obtain membership to local Laborers union
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
