About The Position

This role provides general construction labor tasks in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a welding team for precast panels. The position involves completing general construction labor tasks necessary to caulk precast concrete panels, taking direction from a welding crew foreperson, and performing miscellaneous work as directed. The welder is expected to use materials and supplies efficiently, handle equipment responsibly, and follow established safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• 3G & 4G Certified Welder
• AWS Certification
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Ability to work from ladders and aerial work platforms above 20 ft
• Ability to obtain membership to local Laborers union
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
